The world of social media can be nightmare depending on how you perceive it - to me it is a beautiful Dream of Life manifesting itself each moment as I connect with more and more bright and warm souls all with the same goal of bringing inspiration to those they meet by becoming the inspiration for themselves. Coach Cecily is one among these beautiful voices that spread the kind of message we all need to hear. 84% of the population thinks they’re “not good enough”. Her mission is to help lower that number. Cecily is very passionate about working with individuals, organizations, and communities to help them bridge the gap from where they are today to where they want to be in the future, by helping them release what they DON'T want, discover what they DO want, and create the life of their dreams. She has just moved from Boston to Sedona, AZ, her dream location, with her dog, Chewie. She loves spending time hiking the red rock trails, working in her garden, reading, writing, and exploring social media. She is also the author of a children's book "Mrs. Madison's Magic Garden" that will be published soon. WHO IS CECILY?
Cecily is evolving. Cecily is a continuously growing process. It's really been an amazing time. In the last four years my life has changed completely. Four years ago I had been a corporate consultant. I've been a consultant for 25+ years. I was making 6 figures. I was on a plane every week flying to hospitals all over the country helping them to recreate their management systems. I was pretty miserable. I was definitely fried, my energy was low, I didn't like my job, I didn't like what I was doing, I was feeling bad, I was overweight, I was just not happy. Then I found out that I had cancer, and that really shifted my entire reality. I was essentially a miracle. I had ovarian cancer and usually it's found in the later stages and it's always fatal. I was very lucky it was found in the early stages.
I just had a sense that something was wrong. I saw my doctor and he said "Let's do surgery and take a look" They didn't really know. When they found the cancer I wasn't really sure what was going on. The next morning I woke up in my hospital room and the nurse came in. She had tears in her eyes. She said "Cecily you don't know what kind of a miracle you are." and then she went on saying "This doesn't just happen". These are words said to me that changed my life. She said : "God must have a purpose for you." It was a wake up call for me, and it changed my entire way of thinking. I truly shifted my entire life because I took that seriously. I made a vow that I would live up to that - there IS a reason why I was a miracle and I was supposed to die and I didn't, and I was here for a purpose.
I shifted my entire life around. I had to go through chemotherapy which is extremely debilitating. My entire body really needed to be rebuilt after that. I reinvestigated alternative eating and nutrition and cleansing, and what I should be doing to heal my body and bring it back. I made record progress. I actually had a lot less damage than most people. Going through it could bring permanent damage but I was very lucky. I took care of myself , I took herbs, alternative things, I saw different practitioners that didn't have to do with the medical field. I really had to rebuild myself physically.
I also had an opportunity to recreate myself emotionally and spiritually. I realized that these things were really connected. I had to really find the good in everything. I had to look at why this is happening and learn from it and really get close to Source and the Divine and be able to communicate with more of a direct link - I always had an intuitive ability, so much more as a child but had ignored it - I had the opportunity to find out 'Who was the real Cecily?' ...'Who was this person that's been masquerading as a consultant in the corporate world for so many years and who was truly someone else?' I learned to listen and to tap into Divine Inspiration and Divine Knowledge and to live my life from that place. I realized that what I needed to do was to help other people to do that for themselves.
It's been a long journey to be a life coach. Now I'm more of an "intuitive life coach/healer" because I am actually changing people's lives inside their bodies and be able to heal. I'm always surprised whenever I'm working with a client when it happens and I discover other abilities I have or gifts that I'm supposed to be using are coming through so I'm staying open for the universe to use me and help me to serve people and follow through on my promise to live my purpose as God intended.
DID YOU EVER DREAM THIS UP AS A CHILD?
You know when I was a child I always wanted to be a doctor, but I wasn't encouraged to be one because I was a girl. I also had a poor grade in Chemistry so they told me I could never be a doctor. They said I could be a nurse but I didn't want to be a nurse. I wanted to be a doctor. So there was a healer part of me even as a child. That was what I kinda wanted to do. But I put that aside because it wasn't encouraged.
I realized that that was really what I am doing in terms of helping people and curing people in a different way than a medical doctor, but it's still sickness in that concept. It's amazing when you go back and think about it at your childhood level. We do have an intuitive sense of what it is that we are meant to do here. The conditioning of the world gets in the way sometimes, and we lose track of that. It's only recently - in the last year really that I embraced this ability for me to be a healer and it's opened up a whole new dimension
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING?
I just love working with people and having them be able to help themselves, because I don't work with the idea that 'I have the answers' - I want to help them have the answers for themselves. I love teaching them how to go inside themselves and find out who they really are and to get excited about it - To know that they are divine and they are loved and they are extraordinary. I get excited when people actually make that happen and believe that about themselves. I like to be a mirror for people and I like to be able to hold them up .... I love it when people really connect and experience their own magnificence.
YOUR GREATEST INFLUENCES... MENTORS AND TEACHERS.
I have a lot of teachers. I'm a life-long learner...always growing, always learning. I find that teachers or information comes to me when I need it, which is amazing. At the top of the list comes Wayne Dyer. I've been a fan of his for many years and I have grown as he has grown. I don't know if you have seen some of his recent interviews but he went through a miraculous curing of his leukemia with John of God from Brazil. I believe from his energy and the way he speaks and the way he is living his life that he is an Ascended Master on Earth. He has leveled himself to a higher place. When I look at that, he is an example of what we can all be as a possibility to operate at a higher vibration and live at a higher life and that it is possible in this lifetime to achieve that. He has profound energy and it's shifted for him, and he's shifting the world with his ability to influence so many people. I just get very excited when I think of him.
There are many other teachers. I really love people who are just channeling divinity on a regular basis. I've done a lot of work with Mary Morrisey, I studied with her. She is an extraordinary person and definitely 'tapped in' at many levels. I went through certification in her organization as a 'Life Mastery Consultant'. Just being n her presence and spending many days with her and having that experience was a significant shift in my life -- with me experiencing who I was and what I really needed to do, and learning to help others top because that is what she 's all about. And then there were just teachers that show up on a regular basis. I was just listening to Drunvalo Melchizedek the other day and he was speaking about what's happening in 2012 and he is really connected at whole other level. There is a part of me that truly appreciates his messages. It's also about how we prepare for ascension and what is coming in a joyful way for all of us in this year.
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR DREAMS & ASPIRATIONS.
I'm talking to you from Sedona Arizona, which was a dream I had in 2011...The dream was to live here and everyday I wake up in the morning and thank God that I am here. It is such an extraordinarily beautiful place and there's an extraordinarily beautiful community that is collecting here and was already here. It's really a spiritual mecca and an extraordinary center for the human evolution that we're going through. That to me is part of living my dream.
Being able to expand my business is really something that I am looking at too, so that I can touch people around the world , so I can help and do my life purpose which is helping people to grow and create the life of their dreams. They've got all they need to do that inside of themselves. I want to help them discover that and they can have whatever they want to manifest in them. I want people to know that it's a power we all have and it's our birthright. We can do that. I want to be out there more and have more people have that message. I want them to be impacted and be touched by what I can do to help them to get there.
I also want to be who I am in this world. I'm working on that daily. To be LOVE in everything that I do. To bring love and joy to each moment and to live with intention for that to happen.
I also have a dream of sharing my life with a life partner. This was a challenge for me in my previous lifetime and a challenge to make it happen in this lifetime. This is part of why I am here on the planet... To shift the energy that has made that difficult for who I am in this lifetime and who I am in other lifetimes. I'm here to achieve this on a spiritual level and an intimate level of partnership. That has not been possible for my divine self for a long time. I need to break through that and to release what has held that back. It's a huge goal of mine.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM YOURSELF FROM THIS HUMAN EXPERIENCE?
I've been told many times that I'm a very old soul -- that I've been around a LOT of times. But I'm also getting this sense that this is my last one. (laughs) So, this is what I'm supposed to do, to make this ascension this time and to do it well.
So much of what we believe and so much of how we operate on a day to day basis is based on lies. beliefs that we bought into particularly as children. Stuff that has nothing to do with who we truly are and it's the only thing that's really holding us back is ourselves and these beliefs. We can release them. I know we can, and it's so cool that we have this ability to release these negative beliefs and things that hold us back and to create an opportunity for all of us to come out - to remember our divinity and to have that experience in this lifetime. Being here at this particular time and to be able to experience this energy is a privilege.
Our whole society is really set up to be in fear - to be restricting and to live on the low level of the vibrational scale. We need to know that we have the power to shift into the high end of the scale - to the high energy, the expanded and lighted energy, to the more authentic energy of who we are. To know that we can live in that new space. To release that low level constricting energy - and to know that that aspect of our energy doesn't need to go forward to where humanity is going. In a sense it's a preparation for ascension. It's what we're all doing and it's accelerated. It took years and years to be enlightened in the past but things are speeding up. The releasing is speeding up and we can do it much quicker than we ever did before. We only need to focus and use the tools and have the intention for that to happen. To be ready for the bigger step in the future - I feel that is where humanity is going.
WHAT PASSIONS ENRICH YOUR SPIRIT?
Part of being here in Sedona is connecting with Nature. Yesterday I did a 3 hour hike with my dog Chewie to the most amazing place here in Sedona that I've never been before. We were out there , all alone. We were able to meditate and sit there and connect with the earth and connect with the energies of the rocks in that place. That really excites me-- connecting with Nature and being grounded with the earth and to feel the energy of the earth. I'm committed to do that on a regular basis. I actually have a fine arts degree too and I also work with angels and angel messages. The angels tell me what that I need to do more creative things.
Being in Sedona, you wanna do more creative things and I would like to do more painting. I haven't explored that in many years. I've worked with different art forms in the past, a lot of ceramics and glass work, drawing and sculptures and some painting.
I've been doing a lot of writing. I have a children's book I'm working on which is "Mrs Madison's Magic Garden". I'm very excited about that. That's another goal and dream of mine-- it's to publish that because it's a book for children but it's also really for the people who are reading the book to the children. It's for the adults to learn the spiritual lessons that children being born today already know.
WHAT IS LOVE?
The Beatles said - "LOVE IS ALL WE NEED" .. For me it's ultimately living love from a higher vibration , opening of the heart and feeling the connection that we all have to be part of the human grid that connects us to the earth , a sense that we are all together , a sense of compassion for each other and for ourselves. It starts with self. It starts with loving ALL OF YOU.
I worked a lot with people who have been trying to lose a lot of weight because I lost just in a year 87 pounds myself. Part of what I do is helping people love their bodies. Many of them say "Even the fat cells? I have to love the fat cells?" and I say "YES, you have to love every cell!". It's because you haven't loved them that they keep coming back. So to me, love is the capacity of the heart and the energy of the heart as an organ in the body, but it is also our connection to the divine that brings that Divine Love or Source or God or however you call into this dimension -- expressing it to ourselves and to everything around us in the planet - to the animals and all living beings. Focusing on love is knowing that love will cure anything, that it will make you well , that it will help you to release, and it will help you to create relationships... Love is the place that we have forgotten to operate from.
IF YOU COULD SHARE ONE MESSAGE TO ALL THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD, WHAT WOULD YOUR MESSAGE BE?
My message to the children is to be patient with the adults. (laughs) To understand that we're getting there. We're trying to embrace a level of spirituality and embrace a level of spiritual evolution that we know that they are frustrated about - when we don't see things their way. I hope they can understand that it will come together and that we will be able to do that.
Believe in yourselves and don't be discouraged by the fact that your gifts are not appreciated at this time or a lot of what you see grown ups don't acknowledge and/or value . Keep finding others who can do that and find teachers who can do that for you. Continue to develop the gifts that you came here for.
I'm looking forward to the future with this new generation of children when they are running the show, because it will be a very different world.... a wonderful world!
