MALLKU ARIBALO

Cusco, Peru

An artist and a promoter of Andean Culture- MALLKU collaborated during the 1980's as a co-editor of books on Natural Medicine. In 1997 he presented his book "The Awakening of the Puma, Inka Initiation Path", in which he revealed his expertise in understanding the Esoteric Knowledge within Andean Archaeo-astronomy. In 1999 he paid tribute to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu in his book "Eternamente Machu Picchu, Ciudad de Peregrinos" (Machu Pijchu Forever, City of Pilgrims). His extensive research has earned him well-deserved recognition and acknowledgements, including the publishing of his books in Brazil, Poland and Hungary. MALLKU is an international lecturer and teaches about the Ancient Culture of the Andes, promoting a Shamanic experience as one of the Paths of Liberation for the present generation. In his current book "Inka Power Places, Solar Initiations" he reveals important secrets of the Initiation Knowledge of the Amauta Sages, which were expressed in their Temples, Palaces and Cities as testimony for all time.

In my interview with Mallku I remember him asking when it was over, this one important question. "HOW IS THE AWAKENING IN YOUR COUNTRY?" I've never been asked that and I was very thankful that I was. It allowed me to explore, in a deeper level, what my true purpose is. We grow where we are planted, and the question awakened my deeper concern for the country that I am in, the ground I walk on, the people around me and my community.

Today I am blessed to share with you this magical interview with MALLKU ARIBALO, Teacher, Shaman, Artist and Man of Action.

WHO IS MALLKU?

I am a teacher here in the Andes. Many different people from the world are coming here and I am charge of sharing with these people incredible centers and the wisdom of our ancestors and to give different tools for their personal awareness and the understanding of humanity in history. This is changing the lives of many people. This is some of the elements of course I can go on into much more.

IS THIS YOUR CHILDHOOD DREAM?

When you are a descendant of such a great society as the pre-Incas or the Incas, the dream that you have is to fully preserve the beauty of this planet, to have peace in the world. But to have peace in the world and also to maintain our beautiful world, we need to WORK. The ancient civilizations in the Andes they learned and understood a lot of things. But all that happened because of their work, their understanding of nature, their understanding and experimenting spirit, all together was made to realize their dreams. For me right now, it is important to awaken many people because we are in a crucial time with what's happening with the different societies that are ruling and controlling the planet. It's a very risky period and for that we need people who are awake. I work to maintain peace. I am a person of action. I have a deep connection with Shamanism, which is the 'action'. This is more than a dream. I am a practical person. I act with many people in the world.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT SHAMANISM.

This land is the land of Pachamama. Pachamama is Mother Earth. Everything has a deep connection with Mother Earth. All the energies moving in the planet are honored. Shamanism is the experimentation of all that, and how to respect all that, how to make that all in harmony with your life with no beliefs, just actions. Shamanism is the path of action. It's not a belief, not a conception, so probably what I share with you will be totally different from what many teachers express. Pachamama is the main source of all the secrets of the Earth, all the dynamics that exist and the cosmos. Everything is related. You cannot separate the mental and spiritual aspects. When that happens pay the price, because confusion is manifest, suffering follows. You cannot separate your brain and your heart. Mother Earth is pure action in every moment. Here we are surrounded by mountains, jungles and deserts all together. This is the land that our ancestors chose in order to create great cities. As a Shaman I aim to be close to Pachamama.

DO YOU ENGAGE IN TRAVELS OUTSIDE PERU OR FACILITATE SHAMANIC CEREMONIES TO GATHER PEOPLE?
The main place is the Andes. Cusco and everything around. But of course we travel in the world. When we travel we teach about the Master Path which is the global vision of the human being into the history, into the full potential. We do workshops. We participate in conferences and we bring the message of our ancestors which is the message of Pachamama. Many people resonate with that. Many want to experiment and see the power places. They receive the message of Pachamama and decide to visit us, some of them travel with us in the Andes and participate in programs to learn more and bring their learning into personal practice. If they already have a school that teaches the same the Andean path will encourage them to go deeper in what they are already doing. The people who go here in the Andes discover wonders of the world. Because there is a lot to share and witness, the people stay longer and they find themselves working with us in order to create something bigger and more special for them.

We have a Ceremonial Center in Cusco and we're creating another one. The NEW CEREMONIAL CENTER will allow people to stay longer, to be 'in practice' in the power places and to resonate with the energies and the ancestors connections that exist in those power places. In time it will become a school of our children, a holistic center for different practices, different ways to teach and discover about themselves. So Peru (this is the name of the country now, in the ancient times it was called TAWANTINSUYU, the land of the Inca people) is going to be the center for many people to come. Surely the ones who will feel the call will resonate with Pachamama and they will be here journeying by foot on Saqsaywaman, in Machu Pichu and journey into other dimensions. We are blessed out here and we want to share this beauty and power to our international community. We have been doing this for almost 30 years. Many people are ready for this, and they are coming. So we are ready to receive them and to share.

WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS THE MAIN MESSAGE OF OUR ANCESTORS?
The main message for everybody is to work with their heart but do not forget your mind. Know more about your brain because all the capabilities of this terrestrial dimension is there. In the inner dimension, it's the wisdom of your heart, so altogether this can make the difference, the big change. You become the real thing that Nature, the Cosmos is waiting for. Be an active person. Do not follow the simple currents that are cooperating to destroy our planet. If you know something, be coherent and if possible act for the best for the world. We need that. There is a global crisis and we need people in action. We call unto you. As I have said earlier , Shamanism is the path of action. In our time we encounter many people with their 'beliefs who couldn't go 'deeper' and as they step here in the Andes the action and the path bring radical changes to people. People who have traumas. People with different issues, different sickness, many times they are removed, they are changed and the people are awakened to the path of the heart... the path of beauty, of goals and dreams. We want to share this not as a message, but as an action.

WHAT OTHER PASSIONS ENRICH YOUR SPIRIT?

I am a painter too. But technology came and then I discovered photography and other passions. I illustrate my books and books of other people. I work on magazines , other websites and all that with my art. We love to do ceremonies with different ceremonial instruments too. Using replicas that have been used in time by our ancestors. Ceremony is one of the ways of doing service for yourself and for those who participate in the planet. It is the easy way to assimilate, to have a journey, to understand the resonance, your relationship with the planet and to understand how you can awaken memories that are sleeping for centuries. Of course as a teacher I'd love to teach. I've been discovering a lot of things here in the Andes in relation to our history. I share all that and participate regularly in different public speeches that institutions and universities call on me to do. I am active in my community. I also do this job internationally. probably this year we will stay longer in Peru because we have to finish important constructions. We will be receiving more people here.

ON 2012.

It's a controversial year for many people. Many are scared. Some people they try to justify that it is the beginning of something. There is a lot of manipulation. Many people try to use fear, to scare other people and take advantage of their own perspectives. We are not in that position. Shamanism is the path of action. You can love it or disagree with it but I explain it with deep basis. I've been with different types of people from the Mayans to other cultures. In Mastery you do not care about the time. In Mastery you care about the day, about actions. When people want to point 2012 as a big year and all that, to me it's just a possibility. Many millions can affect the planet... they can contribute to chaos. Let's say for instance the year 2011. Who could assure you that you are in 2011? When you say 2012 is a reality that means you are validating that the Gregorian calendar is the 'perfect calendar'. But please... the calendar was only created in relation to a portion of the population, where the Chinese people, the Hindu people, the Persian people follow their own calendars... In the Andes they follow their own ideas as well. It's only the Westerners who wanted this unique way of measuring time. So when you say 2012 you say "Oh yes! Gregorian Calndar is right!" ... But that to me is just a game.

WHAT IS LOVE?
Love is the highest vibration that connects everything everywhere. Love is what can make people resonate and be in harmony with each other. Of course in human experience, love is transmitted between couples, and they have their own children and they express love in their own ways. But in a higher dimension love goes beyond all that.

Love is the beautiful way that makes you understand who you are, what your position is in the planet and in the Cosmos. Here we have an expression: "Go in the path of Munay" which is unconditional love. And this goes for all kinds of orders... love to nature, love to the vegetation, love to the animals. That makes you an ecological being, resonating with the planet, working for the planet, preserving the planet. This is our home. And then you arrive at very sensible subjects. If you talk about love, you stop killing, you do not kill the animals and you do not eat them. This is a big message and if you have the capability, share that with the community. Share that with the world.

It's a controversy. People want to have peace in the planet and they are talking about love, but everyday they contribute to beautiful beings, animals being killed, murdered in radical conditions just to give personal satisfaction to someone.

The aim is to live coherently meaning heart and mind working together. But love goes beyond all that.

This a very important question. I salute you for asking this.

WHAT IS YOUR GLOBAL VISION?
We need to have peace on Earth. We are affected by how the other societies are affecting the world. The contamination The expenses of resources. We need to be coherent with all that. We are society not in respect of the terrestrial and cosmic energies. In order to stop all that we need people awake. We need people in action. We have to work as a global community. Right now technology is facilitating that. Look at what we are doing right now. We are talking through a wireless system instead of being face to face. But because the Natural Law permits to do that , we are using this way of communicating. In the same time that we can use all these modern technologies we also have to preserve the essence of the planet with the Natural Law and this essence is to have harmony in the planet.

In order to maintain equilibrium you have to permit your heart to be manifest. We need to be actively doing our part. We have to do our best for the planet because that will involve the next generations, and the next generations mean continuity of ourselves. We have to give our children the opportunity to have an easier, better life -- a global life, with harmony in the planet.
