I remember one day last year, I was browsing through my Facebook timeline and I caught sight of this great shot of a girl who was surfing. It drew my attention so much because I had just recovered from a leg injury back then and I was so dying to start running and hitting either the beach or the mountains--anywhere really. But then as I checked out the photo I saw that it was posted by a friend who had been on my contacts for awhile but we never really had a chance to interact. His name is Francois and on that photo he wrote the caption: "My darling smoothing out the kinks at Shasta Lake!" ... "Aww...How sweet!" I thought. How beautiful it was to see this. It really warms my heart to see men who are head over heels in love with their partners... and open about it. I feel that we live in a world that tries so hard to mask emotions and put down and ridicule the "family man" or just simply the "sensitive man" that it's almost an act of courage to show your feelings. In fact it is, and what is perceived as weakness to a lot of people, I perceive as true strength.
Recently I decided I was going to feature couples for February, to go with the Valentine theme and all, and I was so happy to have received a yes from Michael Burke & Jodi Nelmes. But I was determined to find more couples. And so I tried to remember anyone I saw or met lately that really projected that energy of genuine love and what hit me was that picture of Francois wife, Christi, surfing in Shasta Lake... and I remembered too that they both set up a page on Facebook called "True Love" and I said to myself YUP! They were the right couple to feature. So I reached out to them and was lucky enough to get a yes! I was happy. When I met them on Skype for the interview it only confirmed what I had felt about them and more... This couple ... they just glow before my eyes! Both their energies are just so alive and bursting with LOVE!
When I proposed the interview I had asked to do separate interviews , but asking the same questions to both. However they requested to be together when they shared the story of how they met. Of course I happily obliged. And it was one of the most amazing interactions I had with any couple I have ever met!
I've always been a seeker and a dreamer of True Love and Light, in others because that is a way to see the Light in myself... and to see and hear them tell their story with such passion and enthusiasm was a wonderful treat to me, it was like a dance of energies that traveled 10 thousand miles to reach me and I was watching it unfold. It was such a beautiful dance.

So for this Soulspeak special I start with sharing with you the conversation I had with them together , and sharing the story of how they met and will go on with the interviews that were done separately. Either way, they are dancing... and I am quite certain that people will enjoy this beautiful story and hopefully be inspired to Dream of the same Love Light they manifest and share with the world.
DREAMING OF THE LIGHT
Francois & Christi Levannier tell us the magical story of their dreams, how they met and the light that they saw in each other

Christi : I was dating all of the wrong people (or the right people as they were all growth opportunities for me). I finally had it. I got really hurt and said "OK that's enough!" I needed to start working on myself and become who I want to attract. So I started doing Yoga everyday and really questioning my habits and really going inward and working on myself. I said I wasn't going to date anyone until I know I am going to be met on all levels.
My brother sent me an email and he said "Hey I'm in Malaysia in the jungle and I met this guy and I think you two would get along". I was very anti-dating and all of that stuff . My brother has never recommended that I date anyone. And so this is kind of odd. I kept asking "What is this?" and so well if my brother is saying that there is something here so I guess I'll check it out.
Francois : On my end, while I was in a deep longing to be in a relationship and before I met Christi I was traveling the world for 7 years and with no money and my faith alone in God. The only thing that mattered to me was to know God and whatever that meant. I needed to leave because I needed to break out from the people who knew me , the relationships so I had a chance to recreate myself on a new level , outside of the patterns of the people who already know me and who keep showing back to me who I think I am. So for four and a half years before meeting Christi I stopped dating until I saw the right one, My Princess. And the commitment I made was that I wouldn't play around, fool around with girls and I had many opportunities , whether it's sex or kissing or engaging with women which I didn't do because I kept asking God is this aligned? And basically it ended up being , I would meet a woman once a year and we would have a night together, without calculating it , that's really how it ended up being.
Actually the first woman after a year of not dating came 365 days after, to the year, to the day that I last had a girlfriend. That night I realized, 'Oh my God..it's been a year, it's the anniversary!' It just felt aligned with what I was seeking.
In my 6th year of traveling I have just finished a Vipassana retreat (a silent retreat) I was in a jungle in Malaysia...I met an American man... I bumbled into him in a very fortuitous way in front of a bat cave and we got along so well there's a brotherly connection I felt he's a brother. We laughed a lot...And the 3rd day we met, a joke came to my mind about his sister who I didn't know he had and at first I was gonna edit it I told myself "maybe I shouldn't say that it's not very spiritual" . Back then I was meditating four hours a day getting up at 4 am meditating two hours and another two hours in the evening. But I was like, "no... because my quest is for authenticity" and I thought that joke was very funny so I said something about his sister. So we laughed and he said "Actually I do have a sister... and you guys would get along." And when he said that I could see that he has seen the light...he saw something...and he trusted that. So he asked me for my email.

Christi : So I have Francois' e-mail and I'm like ...."Uhhh, what do I say to someone I've never met before? It's kind of odd!" (laughs)
I wasn't really into it, because I wasn't in the space for it but I though, you know if my brother is saying this I'm gonna check it out so I wrote this email and I said "Hi! I'm a Leo! I do meditation and yoga and massage and..what else do you say?" I sent the e-mail and I went to bed.
Then I had a dream that night that someone was knocking on my front door. And so I went, I opened the door and there was this light shining through the door that is like pure love, high vibrational life force energy like brighter than any light I can explain... and I stepped forward into the light and my physical body disappeared. I was one with the light. I had no sensations of the physical body anymore. No heaviness, no pain, density....just pure light and it was such pure love... I stayed there as long as I could in the dream i don't know how long it was it was a long time and this man came walking towards me. And I said "Oh...Hello Francois" in the dream...I knew it was him. And I could see who he was I could see his face... I could see his height ...his eyes... I could see him spiritually, emotionally. Every part of him on every dimension. I felt I knew him already. Of course, he's from the light! And so I took him by the hand and and we went and we made love in the bedroom but it wasn't like the sex I had experienced before it was very sweet and comfortable and safe ...no lower vibrational energy , and then after we finished he got up and he said "So I have to go for now ...And it surprised me I didn't feel like "ohhh he's leaving!" ...I just felt like "Oh.. Yes. Okay I'll see you" He's from the light -- I knew it was safe and I knew that it wasn't over. I woke up from the dream and I was laying in bed and I was like-- "Ohhh my God." (laughs) "This person is SOMETHING ELSE....and there is a connection here beyond anything" And so I thought he must have emailed me because this kind of connection doesn't happen unless there's another connection on the other level so I ran and checked and there's the email from him! And he wrote "I'm Aries and I have a Leo tattooed on my leg" and I was like "Wow"...and he went on saying "I do yoga and meditation"...
Francois : It's awesome because I remember I was in Bondi beach in Australia and I prayed to God "Is my path just supposed to be a Jesus Freak?" You know?... walking around the Earth and being at service in a way without being in a relationship.... and I heard the message very clearly saying : "In this life you were meant to be TOTAL" and I knew what it meant, and that in this lifetime I was meant to be in a relationship ...be in the world but not of the world.
What is phenomenal about this story is Christi, and I was like ..."Yes! she so IS the ONE!" It's because when I got her e-mail that was a month later that I met her brother and I was in Morocco - I had not checked my e-mail..I had been on the road ..I didn't have the opportunity to be in an internet cafe for a long time. So I got her e-mail and I responded and I said "love and light" --something like that ...wishing her blessings. So I closed my eyes, and this is one of the abilities that I had reclaimed in 1990 or even before ...it's to travel in other dimensions and to meet spirits in the spirit world ...who they truly are ... I connected with her spirit and introduced myself energetically to her with the love vibration, the light that I am... that's the Truth about who I am... and we connected. And I always say this before I disconnect or say goodbye --- "Okay I have to go for now." Those are my words. And then I withdraw slowly. It's so beautiful because with the time difference Christi was sleeping and she received the connection so very pristine...so clearly and to the word! She heard the words when I withdrew! "Okay I have to go for now" ... and when she told me that story ... waaay afterwards (laughs) Even when she had the dream she didnt tell me right away I was really mind blown because I didn't know the connection had been that pristine at that moment on both ends!
Christi : We emailed casually for a year and my brother had said "Don't send pictures just get to know Francois" and I was like "What are you doing?" you know.... "What is this guy?" Is he gonna be like 400 pounds and something and he said "No just trust me" and I was a little scared but you know I do trust my brother So we emailed for a year and I had several other dreams where I could really see who Francois was so I felt this trust on a spirit level which I hadn't felt w/ others I had dated. There was a clarity, a purpose and intention that I felt with him that was strong.
Finally after a year I decided I wanted to meet him, so I sent him an email and I said " Hey why don't you come to California! ..The surf is up here!" I didn't know anything about surfing and I thought well..he's traveling I don't know if he will even come.And he sent an email right away saying "Okay I'm coming for one month" and I said "Oh my Goooooood what did I get myself into!?!" (laughs)
Francois : So she sent me a first e-mail saying, "Hey would you consider coming over?", and she invited me to come visit surfs up because she knew I was a surfer and so I had said yes but at that time I was at canary islands. And it was only for a few months. And I think we didn't e-mail for a couple of months... and I was back in Paris and worked for a month enough to make money to live for another year (I'd leave with 500 dollars, I didn't care ..or just take a plane somewhere sometimes hitchhike from France ...It didn't matter) what was incredible is that where I was at on my end and at that time I had something like $1500 so I was where am I going next so I was invited to Ireland ...to a woman's place who I met in Australia and that day I tried to book a train ticket to Ireland .... that day! And that morning I got an email from Christi who I hadn't heard of for two months and she said "Hey are you coming to California?" So I changed my plans and said "Yes, I am" and I booked my tickets and said I have a plane for a month
Christi : We met at the airport for the first time, and we never saw a picture of each other... That morning I was REALLY nervous and I get this phone call from this German woman and "Hello Christi I'm Francois' mother!!" and I'm like "Whoaaaah!!!" Like 've never really talked to Francois on the phone and the mother's calling!" and she said "Yes I just want you to know that Francois will be wearing a greay cap and glasses...and he's not very attractive. But you will notice him...a lot of people notice him but he's not very attractive." So I was like..."Oh my God, what mother says that about her son!?" (laughs)
Francois : Thank you mom!!! (laughs)
Everybody was off of the plane and there were one or two stragglers and then I see this guy with a bit of spiked hair , no hat no glasses , big guitar case sticking up and just walking through the airport slowly as if he was a child in a park and I said "That's Francois!" and he sees me and which excitedly he goes "CHRISTI?" and I said "FRANCOIS?" and he says , with a big smile on his face... "Nice to meet you. I'm happy...I'm really happy!!!"
I took him in my car and drove and drive an hour back to the house. There was such a comfortable feeling between us like in a dream a very soft and easy connection and we connected so deeply on so many levels right away. Talking about God so easily ...talking about our spiritual paths and it was an instant flow.
Francois : There are so many intricacies that could be a bit complicated and long to share with you Juno... but you have the gist.
Christi : I forgot to mention this too.... When I was prepating for Francois to come I was talking to my ancestors one night who had passed to the other side and asking them to bring certain qualities that they embodied when they were living to me in Francois or whoever my partner would be and my grandmother was one in particular who had such a beautiful heart who was just this Love Goddess and I said to her most nights, "Please please bring me someone who has a heart like yours...who loves like you did" ...and this man is THAT and then some.

Who is Francois Levannier? Where are you now in your journey?
I am a Spiritual Being having a human experience. My prime commitment is living in alignment with Source/Creator as a pure vehicle for Love, Truth and Freedom.
I grew up in France, near Paris, and was born to a French man and a German woman. I have one brother, Pascal. My parents were perfect for me! My dad is a wise man who understood and supported my spiritual fiber, and my mom taught me to be bold and take chances. I feel incredibly blessed to have had the opportunity to spend my school years in an International School. I love languages, speak five fluently, and am currently learning Portuguese for our trip to Brazil in March!
As a violinist, I started performing in the streets of Munich at age 9. I would make $70 dollars an hour. This was so much money for a kid back in 1982! The streets would later become my stage for more elaborate solo and group performances mixing theater, circus, and music to create mind-opening experiences for the audiences.
At age 19, I discovered by chance that I could bring about instant healing for injured people by laying my hands above their bodies.
When I finished my International Business studies, I left on a spiritual quest travelling the world for seven years without money with the intention to find out the truth about who I was, God and my place in the Universe.
When I met Christi, I knew I was done searching, and settled down with her here in Mill Valley, California, where I help people and companies thrive! I love spending time in nature, surfing, yoga, meditation, music and anything that helps me connect to Love/Creator. Time with Christi is always a gift that I cherish.
What keeps you busy?
I am a business, life, and Spirit Coach. When I'm not on the phone with clients, I am constantly creating new stuff like workshops, courses, events, corporate retreats, iPhone apps, etc. I'm also writing a book called: "You can have your life and love it too! How to be happy no matter what."
When I'm not creating new stuff for 'work', I am co-creating magical moments with the people in my life, especially my beloved wife Christi! Those moments in turn ignite and inspire new ways to be at service in the world.
Right now, a lot of my intention is flowing toward reaching and helping more people find their True Love. Presenting our transformational workshops: "How To Become A Magnet For Your True Love" has brought us an incredible amount of joy and fulfillment, and we are currently designing a new platform for this program so that everyone can access it easily wherever they are!
This is a magical story that truly has to be told by the both of us, and you have that full interview!
Some tidbits... I saw Christi in a vision while in the Amazon with the Shuar Indians with whom I lived for six months back in 1995-96. Six years of world travel later, I met an American man named Sheldon in the jungle in Malaysia. I had met thousands of people on my journey, but only a few who somehow felt like family as he did. He was inspired to connect his sister Christi with me and gave her my email. A month later I was in Morocco and received an email from her. Before pushing the "reply" button, I closed my eyes and traveled to meet her in Spirit. With the time difference, she was asleep at that time, and she experienced this connection vividly in her dreams. When she woke up, her life had changed forever. We respected Sheldon's instructions to not exchange pictures of each other, and emailed for a year before she invited me to come and visit.
The first time we saw each other was at the airport in San Francisco, and the rest in history - we're celebrating our 9th anniversary in a few days!
So can you say she is the "Girl of your Dreams"?
Yes, and then some! She has every single quality that I was looking for in a woman. She is GORGEOUS inside and out! She is committed to her own spiritual path and God, totally connected with nature and animals, she is fun, adventurous, athletic... She's my best friend and lover.
WOW! Before I met her I had been on the road for seven years, living out of a backpack; my heart was my home. It still is, but now I also have an outward manifestation of it. She helped me get grounded in the world - that's what the Goddess does!
Do you believe in Soul Mates?
Yes, so much so that four and a half years before I met Christi, I had decided to not date anyone until I found My Princessa. I'm so grateful that Life brought us together!
Conflicts and arguments are all part of a love relationship. How do you face them and overcome them?
Conflicts and arguments are part of Fear, not Love...I hear your question though. Yes of course, being in a relationship brings up the dark in us as well as the light.
Fortunately Christi and I are both committed to using our relationship as a mirror to further our growth, not to try and change each other. We have enough awareness and wisdom to know that blame doesn't work, and we are taking responsibility for our crap.
We both have permission to fall apart, but we have also agreed on solid boundaries to keep this relationship safe. Yes, we have rules. No yelling, no disrespect. We are mature adults and will communicate with intention. If we're too triggered and have temporarily lost our ability to act responsibly, we'll take time off until we have regained a cool head and a clear intention for the conversation, so our relationship can be enhanced rather than worn down.
Christi is Love, and without Love, our world would perish.
Your Outlook... What is the future like for you?
I have been dedicated to sowing spiritual ôseedsö consciously for a long time, intending the expansion of Love, Truth and Freedom. Many of these seeds have blossomed and their nectar is filling the air of my life with Joy and Grace. As long I keep watering them with my love and awareness, they will continue to grow.
I only see more and more service in my future, helping others discover their soul's purpose: why they are here and what is their path.
I would love to do more work with corporations that have influence in the world, so that we can all experience in our lifetime what it's like to live in a paradigm that is based on universal laws of love and care.
What's the biggest thing you've learned from yourself in this relationship? And what have you un-learned?
I learned to love and appreciate myself more. I deepened my sense of self-worth, which allows me to offer my services in the world with more confidence.
I un-learned eating sugar as a way to satisfy my craving for love and sweetness.

Who is Christi Levannier? Where are you now in your journey?
I grew up in a quiet town in Northern California. My father was a logger and we would go out into nature for months. I was surrounded by wild nature I would spend hours at a time with my pets, horses, dogs, cats, ducks, rabbits, owls, and so many more. Nature was my refuge and I came to know how to read nature as an oracle for guidance and deeper wisdom and Truth & I felt the strongest connection to God. I was always passionate about truth, God, nature and people, and love. I had lots of growth opportunities growing up and chose some difficult paths so that I could have contrast. I did get to see what I did not want my life to be like!! My personal growth started to become more clear at the age of 30 as I became a massage therapist and started to use my gifts of healing to help others. My practice was thriving and my gifts expanded quickly into the intuitive arts.
At this present time in my life I am a Spirit Coach® and help others get in touch with their Spirits, and help them live their life from that place of connection to their Truth.
I am very happily married to my True Love for 9 years and we spend lots of time co creating and sharing out lives. I am offering my gifts in the healing & intuitive arts as a Spirit Coach®. I enjoy helping others connect with their Spirit and life from their truth.
I spend as much time in nature as I can. It is still my passion! I dance, practice yoga, meditate and am committed to my Spiritual development. I cherish my relationships with friends and family. I paint, draw and love creating raw treats in the kitchen.
Tell me about Francois and the birth of True Love.
Francois is a wonderful being who is deeply committed to living Truth and helping others live theirs. He is my best friend and Twin Soul. Our meeting was co created as we were both working on ourselves and becoming who we wanted to attract. I was doing lots of yoga to clear my karma and unlearn who I was not so that I could start to attract my True Love. “As within so without” and seeing that my relationships are mirrors. I was attracting from who I believed I was. I can see the law of attraction or like attracting like with how we met. I was in the US and he was in Malaysia in the jingle when he crossed paths with my brother (Sheldon). As they stated speaking Francois made a joke about being set up with Sheldon’s sister. Francois not knowing that Sheldon had a sister. Sheldon got very serious and said,” Actually I have a sister and you two would get along!” Sheldon sent me Francois email address with short instructions on not exchanging pictures, I would like this guy, he was a good person and not much more info other than I would not be disappointed. This is so awesome to see that I was focusing on becoming who I wanted to attract and the universe found him on the other side of the world and brought him to me!!!! So can you say he is the "Man of your Dreams"?
Francois is the man of my dreams LITERALLY!!! As I had received Francois email from my brother who had met him in the jungle of Malaysia. I had not been dating for a year to help me get clear and become who I wanted to attract. When I received the email form my brother I was not very excited or eager to email Francois but I did. That night I had a dream that someone was knocking on my door and I went to open it as opened the door a light so bright, pure Love, the Divine or God or what ever you want to call it was all I could see. I stepped forward and became one with this light. My physical body melted and disappeared and I was this PUREST light.. There was no weight or density of the physical body, just this brilliant light and me. I stayed here as long as I could. Then a man came walking towards me form the light. I knew him & exclaimed, “FRANCOIS!” it was indeed him and I could see exactly who he was on all levels. Body, I could see the color of his eyes & hair and all. His emotional and spiritual being as well. We went and made love and it was not like any other love I had made. It was safe, connected, gentle and yummy! After we finished he got up to leave and said,” I have to go for now.” I was not sad or feeling the usual abandonment because he was from the light and we were connected by this light. As I woke up from that dream I knew that my life was changed for ever and that I would not date anyone that did not have this vibration. He is the man of my dreams!!! (laughs)
Francois is also the man that is most aligned with my Spirit as I set a very strong intention to attract my True Love and someone who would encourage my growth and be fully committed to their own growth and hold me to my higher potential and he came to me from across the world. We lived parallel lives in different parts of the world as we were growing up and as we have been married now” for 9 years. We continue to share our juicy connection.

How has life changed since you met Francois?
I am happier and more content than I ever expected I could be with another. As my life is fuller and I am doing things I never thought I would. Like speaking in public at our “How To Become a Magnet for Your True Love”,events. With Francois support I have blossomed into a bigger more expansive me. I love this quote by Pablo Neruda~”I want to do to you what spring does with the cherry trees.” I do feel a bigger blossoming of my true self has happened since I met Francois .
Do you believe in Soul Mates?
YES!! I believe… we have many soul mates, and one Twin Souls or True Love. Soul mates are those we have karma with and Twin Soul is some one who has a twin soul to yours! Almost like the two have been split in half life times ago and have been searching for each others ever since.! Once reunite their spiritual service as a couple is to help & be of service to humanity! Powerful to have that spiritual light or energy coming through us both to elevate and help us offer our relationship as service to our world. I know that Francois and I are True Twin Souls and True Lovers!
Conflicts and arguments are all part of a love relationship. How do you face them and overcome them?
OOOOh we are both very fiery and strong with passionate personalities! We have stuff come up. But we have both had relationships in the past that we played out those fiery tempers or dramas in the relationships and we did not end up with any of them!!! We have made a strong commitment to God and to the highest good of our relationship and to not out picture our drama in our relationship. If there is an outburst we do our best to hold the space so that we can navigate through with out yelling or being mean. If one starts to cross that line the other will offer a warning and if it continues we will leave each others company til we can both chill out, really take a second look at what is REALLY going on and take responsibility for out part & get clear. Then we will meet to have a less charged conversation. We have solved so many problems this way. We both feel safe and that we have created a gentle container for growth. It all gets addressed and shared but with out the anger, charge, or drama! WAAAAHOOOOOO!!
Why can't the world do without Francois?
Francois is such a wonderful man and is so committed to truth and everyone he meets almost instantly likes him. He Is open, caring, gentle, generous, shares openly, he is kind, he sees the best in everybody, he is an amazing musician, speaks 5 languages fluently, he is hilarious, he is a genius in his body and almost every sport he plays, he has a way of including everyone, he lights up the world with his smile, jokes, quirky sense of humor and vibrant energy. His joy is contentious. He is creative and is constantly creating with new ideas for how to make the word a better place. Honestly he is holding a beautiful vibration that is helping so many people that if he was not on this planet it would not be spinning properly! (laughs)
Your Outlook... What is the future like for you?
I would love to continue to be of service to the world as a Spirit Coach® by helping others grow, to live their lives connected to their Spirit & to live their best life. To help others attract their True Love.
