This Shadow That You See (A poem)

This shadow that you see
Can only sit with you
You cannot dwell in it
It is not you

The sun and the stars
You are all made of the same fabric
And every time this darkness lingers on
A light turns on
Like a heavenly body illuminating
Like a phoenix rising
Like the moonlight striking
On the deep blue
You will awaken from this death
Only to find out
That this light is you
