Slowly Like A Rain of Tears (A Poem)

Today I will let love's sweet rain 

Wash over my soul, 

Slowly

Like a rain of tears,

As I rest in silent prayer, 

for the storm to calm

I give thanks for the moment    

I celebrate 

as I banish all fears, 

I am lost 

but I am lost with you 

I trust 

for our love will light the way

and this soul embrace 

will spark our faith
