STARS IN MAY (A Poem)

The stars in May are faint
But all stars tell a story in the sky
Of gardens that wither in space
And worlds that dissolve in the eye

The stars in May are still
But all stars tell a story of the earth
When the gods converge with the comets
To conspire their own rebirth

The stars in May are weeping
But all stars tell a story in time
Of dreams that ceased their journeys
In oceans of Divine

The stars in May have slumbered
But all stars tell a story of a warrior
Who rests in heart's recluse
Surrendering his sacred armor

The stars in May are distant
But all stars tell a story of a Soul
Who wanders off in mystic worlds
Of gypsy wheels and rabbit holes
