In gratitude...
For slow falling fears
And dark-winged sorrows
The plague of resistance
That helped me endure
The storm of tomorrow
For furies of doubt
Resounding with might
Who shook me in slumber
So I may awaken
To this day of light
For young and old souls
Who lift my spirit
Seeking no other gain
But to witness the day
When I am whole again
For this flame of hope
This sacred soul's likeness
A reverent deep
The life and reflection
Of joy within reach
For this solitude
The sweet chain of calm
That silenced the war
And led me to hear
The song in my heart
